Dr. Lee Percussion and Electronics:

A electronic and acoustic music group that includes djembes vocals, trumpet, percussion and electronic beats and textures, as well as a five piece non electronic percussion group.

We consist of four core members who have performed for various types of celebrations, festivals and events.

Some popular local venues include Beijing's International Tourism Festival 2011-Open Mind Festival 2011-WESTFEST Tam-Tam,-NAC. WATERCAN,-The Mercury Lounge, and Black Sheep Inn 

It is not unusual to see us set up on the ground in front of the stage and audience or amidst the spectators who have been charmed and drawn to the explosion of beats and rythms. Dr. Lee Percussion and Eletronics is comprised of Lee Garbutt, lead drummer and creator; Yannick Ndongmo, lead singer and djembe; Lainie Towell, Dunduns, vocals and arrangements. Mario Gauvreau, trumpet and sangban/kenkeni, Chris Krepski, dunduns and djembe.
